So what’s new this month.

We are delighted to announce that

will be coming in September to do a Q&A about Substack, how to navigate it and any other questions you may have.

For members, we have a new Desert Island Pics with John Armstrong-Millar which was another really interesting session and we both suggest you go and listen to it.

We have our new series 10 Photos 5 Questions if you would like to get involved then please send us an email. We have another 3 in the pipeline but please do join in (especially the women in this group!!!!!).

We are genuinely proud of all the achievements in this group. Well done to those who were commended and finalists in the Pink Lady Food Photography Awards especially Ari Kellerman who got second place in the Champagne Taittinger Food for Celebration and runner up in Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers as was Linda Gower. Lisa Flood has her book ‘Alpenglow’ coming out this July. If anybody has any other achievements or things to shout about let us know - write them below in comments or send us a message.

You can visit our page on Substack with all the information about our weekly In Conversations etc and should you want to join our membership then it will be 15 euros a month, 150 euros a year or 350 euros for a founding member. Why not try it out for a week or a month?

For this you will be supporting our work during the year, ALL recordings of In Conversation and Q&A’s will be included, our new Desert Island Pics series, access to extra written content, guest content + more.

There is a lot of interest for our ANDALUCIAN workshop so please book your place otherwise you might miss out!

All information about our WORKSHOPS which are online for 2024. For those of you who are interested but are worried about budget or paying a deposit at the moment - PLEASE DONT FORGET that we can also arrange a PAYMENT PLAN that can be extended into 2025 so please do ask.

We do understand this is an expense and we are ALWAYS open to helping you come along and joining us on one of the workshops on offer.

TUESDAY 2 July - KATHERINA GEISSLER-EVANS - FOUNDER & EDITOR OF HEITER MAGAZINE

Katharina has very kindly agreed to come along and talk about the ins & outs of setting up an independent magazine. Katherina is also a writer, fashion stylist and online presence consultant for small fashion & lifestyle brands. She has a background in e-commerce, marketing, fashion media & journalism and teaching, and has worked for brands such as Net-A-Porter, Mytheresa, Farfetch and Crew Clothing Co. as well as a handful of online publications.

TUESDAY 9 July - LISA FLOOD

Lisa as most of you know is a member of our group and with guidance from us has her FIRST PHOTOGRAPHY book coming out this Summer with Hillary Munro called ALPENGLOW. For those of you who don’t know our Lisa is already the author of six western design and lifestyle books, and she has had articles appear in Architectural Digest, House & Garden in London, Cowboys & Indians, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Mountain Living, and others.

Lisa will be talking about how she brought this project to life and showing us some wonderful photographs from the book and her life in Wyoming

TUESDAY 16 July - ARI KELLERMAN

Ari as most of you know is also a member of the group and we have invited Ari to talk and show us her work from Romania and also what she has been up to including work for the infamous Cabana magazine amongst others. As Ari said she came to photography after a career in house museums and historic preservation. She is inspired by projects rooted in heritage and craft and chase those traditions around the globe. She has certainly been travelling, learning her craft and tapping on those doors to make it happen.

TUESDAY 23 July - ASSIGNMENTS REVIEW

We will go through your THEMES of the month. As you may have noticed in recent sessions this may go on longer than an hour! So be prepared!

TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS will then be on our ANNUAL break until end of August/beginning of September. DATES TO BE CONFIRMED
