1 BANGOR DAILY NEWS FEBRUARY 22-23, 2003 CHI RIES VEAZIE Beulah- (Jordan) Hodgman, 90, wife of the late Stewart R. Hodgman, died Feb. 21, 2003, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 20, 1912, in Peabody, the daughter of William and Grace (Turner) Jordan.

Beulah attended the Veazie Congregational Church. and was very active in the Ladies Aid. She is survived by one son and his wife, S. "Pip" Hodgman and Christine of Veazie; one daughter, Gayle Bemis of Veazie; one brother, Warner Jordan and his wife, Margaret, of six grandchildren, Diana and her husband, Russell Vassar, of Veazie, Dawna Bemis and her husband, Paul Prescott, of Portland, Dina and her husband, Blaine Cole, of Veazie, Patrick Bouchard and his wife, Robin, of Hampden, Wayne Bouchard and his wife, Karen, of Bangor; nine greatgrandchildren, Bill, Stew, and Jim Vassar, Mitchell and Samanatha Cole, David, Nicholas, Camryn, and Kristen Bouchard; two -in-laws, Marjorie Jordan and Flora Jordan both of Veazie; one brother-in-law, Normand Bacon of Veazie; and several niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, William, Charles, Waldo, and Frank Jordan; and three sisters, Mary Parks, Gracie Bacon, and Elsie Bogert.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb 22, at BrookingsSmith, 133 Center Bangor where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Patricia Moore, pastor of Veazie Congregational Church, officiating The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center Bangor following the service. Spring interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Veazie.

20, 2003, at a local nursing home. She was born March 1, 1915, in DoverFoxcroft, the daughter of -George B. and Maude (Clark) Dow. She graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1932. She lived in Bangor for 56 years before moving back to Dover-Foxcroft in 1999.

While in Bangor, she was a longtime member of the First Universalist Church and the AUW Guild. Mildred was a 49-year member and past Regent of the Francis Dighton Williams Chapter DAR. She was also a member of the Maine Mayflower Society and a Life Member of the Eastern Star. Mildred enjoyed genealogical work. Besides extensive research on her own family, she thoroughly enjoyed helping others trace their family history.

She was also especially fond of spending time at Sebec Lake with family and friends. In addition to her husband, Mildred was predeceased by a daughter, Norene McClure, and a sister, Bernice Hesketh. She is survived by a son, George W. Levensalor of Millinocket; two granddaughters, Michele McClure of Woonsocket, R.I., and Theresa O'Brien of Lewiston; two greatgrandchildren, Tucker and Caleb O'Brien of Lewiston. She is also survived by a sister-inlaw, Ruth Crowley of Augusta; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to call from 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Rev. David McLeish officiating.

30, 1926, in Ashland, the son of Ellery and Jennie (Sholler) Robinson. Early on in his life, he worked on the family farm with his father and also in the woods for several years. Vernon was also employed as a brakeman and conductor with the A Railroad for many years and for the last 20. years of his working life he worked for the Maine Dept. of Agriculture at the Porter Seed Farms in Masardis, retiring in 1988.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, snowmobiling, and canoeing. He loved conversing with just about anyone and everyone he met and was a great storyteller. Vernon was a registered Maine Guide and a member of the Maine Trappers Association, the Maine Snowmobile the Masardis and Oxbow Snowmobile Club, and a member of the Masardis Volunteer Fire Dept. He was an Army veteran of World War 11, and a life member of the VFW, LeBlanc-Junkins Post 9699 of Ashland, having served as past senior vice commander. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy (Craig) Robinson of Masardis; two sons, Kevin Robinson and his wife, Barbara, of Ashland and Eric Robinson of Masardis; two daughters, Kristi and Kathi Robinson, both of Masardis; one grandson, Joshua Robinson of Ashland; three brothers, E.

She was born June. 1, 1929, in Sheridan, the daughter of Annie Beaulieu Caron. Irene was known for her love of playing cards with friends and spending time at camp on Ambajejus Lake.
