Kotetsu stormed off after witnessing the doll getting damaged.
I followed Kotetsu, worried about how he's feeling.
After a short while and following my slightly ineffective nose, I found Kotetsu on a tree.
 
           
 
 
Tanjiro: Kotetsu! How in the world did you manage to get up that high?!
Kotetsu: ....
Tanjiro: Come on. You can't give up on your doll. I'll do anything I can to help you out. What about your future? If you try hard now for your future self, then a day will come where you can fight and stand up for yourself
Kotetsu: No, it won't. I'm smart enough to know I'm a loser, okay?... because of me... it's all gonna end with my generation
After hearing his complaint, i climbed up the tree and flicked my finger on his chin.
 
           
 
 
Kotetsu: OUCHIE!!
Tanjiro: You can not give up and walk away from it. I really wish you wouldn't talk about yourself that way
Kotetsu: (he didn't even make a sound? Swordsmen are scary!)

Tanjiro: Even if you can't do it, there would be someone who'll carry on for you. You have to do what you can so it gets passed on. If you fail, then maybe your kids or grandchildren would succeed. I want to be the one who'll put an end to Muzan Kibutsuji and to save my sister, who's been turned into a demon. I might die before I fulfill my goals, but I have faith that someone might carry on my wishes. The same way we were able to when we beat an upper rank. So I know in my heart that someday, Muzan Kibutsuji will fall
I held Kotetsu's hand.
Tanjiro: Let's give it our all!
Kotetsu: *crying* i.. I couldn't stand him to break my doll. But that was before. The combat training should last till nightfall. I promise I'll see this through to the end
Tanjiro: Yeah!
MUICHIRO POV
After i knocked out the guy who was talking about something, got the key and carried the doll to another area.
I then used the key and activated the doll to begin my training.
I dodged and parried its attacks to get a feel for its capabilities for a while before I decided to start fighting.
As I was fighting, the sword that I was using broke and had to cut my training short.
 
           
 
 
I noticed that the swords the doll had seemed like in good shape, so i grabbed it.
I then made my way to the village to have the broken sword disposed.
On my way, I walked past two people who i feel like ive seen before.

Tanjiro: What!? You're already done!?
Muichiro: im finished. It made for good training... Do I know you?... oh thats right, my sword snapped, so this would do for the time being
Suddenly, one of the people ran off for some reason.
Tanjiro: Kotetsu!
I tossed the broken sword to the other guy.
Muichiro: There, now dispose of it
I then left the person alone to dispose of a useless sword, and my crow Ginko perched on my shoulder.
Tanjiro: (not even a wiff of malice. He must not even be doing it on purpose? With that being said, his crow, on the other hand, is oozing with animosity. She's so condescending. What gives?)
Not having an immediate reason to head back to the village, I began wandering the mountain for a reason, which i forgot.
After walking for i forgot how long, I noticed a bug flying past me.
Muichiro: (What kind of bug is that called again?)
Suddenly, I bumped into something and instinctively grabbed it as it was about to fall.
I looked at what I bumped into and was surprised to see Rimuru.
Muichiro: Rimuru!?
Rimuru: *blush* M-muichiro!?
Her face turned slightly red for some reason.
Muichiro: (strange her face became red. Is she sick?)
I helped her up to her feet, and i dont know why. Ut i found myself staring into Rimuru's yellow eyes.
I then realized that im still holding her hand and i felt my face becoming warm.
I quickly let go of her hand and diverted my gaze somewhere else.
Muichiro: (strange i can't remember when i started to have trouble remembering things outside from mist breathing, my job as a hashira and everything related to it, and even then, i could barely remember specific details. But for some reason, i can remember every memory involving Rimuru clearly)
Our crows began fighting again and the sky got dark and I could hear thunder.
Rimuru grabbed my hand and started dragging me somewhere when i realized it started raining.
Rimuru: we need to get out of the rain, or we'll get sick
As we are running, I noticed that Rimuru is limping slightly.
Muichiro: (Rimuru is limping. is her leg broken or something?)
I picked up Rimuru in my arms and began running to the village.
